Great price and love the moonlights
i was looking for a nice led light for my new 55 gallon tank. I decided to go with this model because it includes the moon lights and Actinic lights. It was perfect for my tank although it was a bit too long for my tank. My only complaint is that I wish I could put the differnt lights on timers. changing from daytime to moon lights, you have to manually turn it on. And it had the greatest price for everything that it comes with. I'm very happy with this purchase and recommend it to others that want a good light but don't want to pay an arm and a leg.

Moon lights
These are fantastic lights with great color, brightness, and depth. I have 14 of them! I have two each on my 150s ... great depth and brightness ... and one on each of my 30 breeders.
The reason I'm writing this review is to point out a design flaw. There are three lights, strip one (usually white), strip two (usually actinic), and the led moonlights. There are two switches, one for each of the strips, but no switch for the moonlights. So, you can never turn off the moonlights without unplugging the unit.
However, my main complaint is that there is only one power cord! This means that I cannot operate these lights properly with a timer. Think about the fact that I have 14 of these. If I wanted to keep the moonlights on while the other lights were off, I'd have to manually turn all 14 of these on and off each day.
So, while these lights might really appeal to people with just one aquarium, people with many aquariums might be reluctant to invest...
awesome brings out the best colors
This product is absolutely the best and most well spent money I have put into my 40 gallon reef tank. The light is absolutely amazing. Night light is fabulous.
