12" Wave Point LED sun micro unit
I have a 7gl saltwater reef tank that is 16" x 10" x10" h. I saw this unit over two nanos at my LFS and was pretty confident that it would be perfect for my own nano. Not so sure after hooking it up a few hours ago.

Pros:

Unit is clean and modern looking.

Cons:

24 leds....but only 8 are white. As much as I lean toward a more blue spectrum/look...these just aren't bright enough. The unit should have been 50/50....or add another row of twelve leds. My little tank is so dark that I can barely find my fish. My first inclination is to return it....or buy an all white strip to tuck into this units hood. I'll try it for two weeks...

There is nothing on the box or documentation to tell me what spectrum these leds produce and if they can sustain corals...or even macroalgae. They are only .25 watts each.
