This Reef Capable version features a built-in timer that provides independent control over the 460 nm Blue and 10,000K White LEDs. The Blue and White LEDs can independently be programmed to turn on for a daily period of your choosing.
The Marineland Reef Capable LED Lighting System 24-36" has the equivalent output of a 24" 2 lamp T5 HO and is appropriate for 24" tanks with soft corals and live rock. Great - almost perfect
This light is perfect for my 65 gallon fresh water tank. The timer is great - worry free, set your times to start and end with the evening/morning light settings between, very cool. The only thing that would make this perfect would be if the lights would dim between the day light to evening light switch - currently it just cuts/switches between the two. In real life the reef life get a transition that is a bit more transitioning - not a sharp swap of light. The overall light bar gets fairly warm and the bulbs could change the warmth of the water on smaller tanks.

Marineland 24'-36' Reef Capable Led Lighting System
this is a great led light.im using it on my 20 gallon tank with lots of plants in it.the light is very bright and the blue moon light adds a great look.im using the blue moon light 24 hours a day and using the white 9 hours a day.the timer is great.you can program the white light to what you want and the blue moon light to what you want.both of them are on different timers.you can override at any time by hitting the white or blue buttons.this is the best light i have ever had.the price was very good on it to.if you have a aquamium and want a good light i would get one.the light does get perty hot but not burning your fingers when touching it.
