I have had the old halogen tube lights and I have to say they deffinitely do not compare to these new Marineland Double Bright LED Lights. I have US native species in a 125 gallon tank and a natural habitat setting and its nice that someone finally makes a natural light. The shimmering effect through the water is so life like and cool to see. Then at night I switch to the moon light setting and its just amazing. I can see my native fish I catch in a natural habitat in natural light and its soft enough that it doesnt wake me up if I fall asleep facing the fish tank. My fish seem to be more active now than they ever were, I wonder if they can even tell a difference between my tank and the wild lakes I fish.
