3 watt atinic blue and white LED bulbs

Different than their Marineland counterpart:

1. These have two separate power cords for timer control. (No need to flip a switch 4 times a daybr>
2. Lengths are actual light length not extendable wings

3. Reef Lights use 3 watt LED reef growth bulbs not 1 watt (reef capable) bulbs

Quickly becoming the new king of aquarium lighting (with the new "high end" HO/PUR LED emitter bins),
Better "shimmering effect" and "eye popping" colors from your coral and fish otherwise found in Metal Halide.
This aquarium light type uses award winning semiconductor technology as its light source.
The difficulty in the past (and where many still misunderstand the complexities of LEDs) is correct wave length of the emitters. For example the infrared emitter uses Gallium arsenide (GaAs) and/or Aluminium gallium arsenide (AlGaAs) for its semiconductor material while Blue (460 nm) uses Zinc selenide (ZnSe), Indium gallium nitride (InGaN), Silicon carbide (SiC), and/or Silicon (Si).
Essential for growing corals.
Achieving the correct wavelengths in the correct amounts has been the challenge and why a simple LED flashlight has about as much in common to an advanced aquarium LED as paper glider to an airplane.
With better PAR, PUR, lumens per watt than any T-5 or metal Halide fixture.

The new lights last up to 50,000 hours
Produce little or no useless yellow/green spectrum light and are very compact.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Best light ever
I searched through all kinds of lights for my new saltwater aquarium. I research all brands and prices. In the end I concluded the Reef Light was by far the best value for the money, and honestly I'm not sure if even spending $1,000s would provide a better light. The light has the best color I've seen. It is bright and produces the light needed without the added heat. I was really concerned with heat, which is why I wanted to go with an LED light. I didn't want to pay to heat the tank with the light only to in return need to add a cooler. I can confirm there really isn't any significant heat between the light and the top of the fish tank.

Overall the packaging was good and provided adequate protection. The light arrived in good condition. The only problem I experienced is during transit some of the foam packaging had broken down on the end caps and leach into the inside of the light. I was able to easily remove the end caps and blow out the foam debris with a small air...

Great light and great people to do business with
The light fixture itself is very bright and the blue is pretty heavy by itself. There's only two power supplies which is a plus. It comes with a mounting/adjustable bracket. Best bang for the buck. Very thin and light weight. Only downside I see in this is that it will not fit in a 48" canopy without customization. I think if it could fit inside a canopy it would be an awesome fixture.

I can't say a whole lot about the light because I had to return because my parent's donated me another light that will work. However, I would gladly do business with this seller again. They were very quick to respond to my inquiry and gave me a refund.
