had this hood yrs ago and still love it
had this hood(same size even) yrs and yrs ago (near time first came out) and figured try again. Still great, no problems with hood BUT the page says size "Z" filters and its a size "G", had to return filters and purchased other size.

I love this product. It is sleak and neat by design and can be purchased for the naturally planted aquarium or with incandscent bulb. Filter media is easiy swapped out. I like that there is no filter hanging about - in or out of the tank distracting the veiwer from the beauty of your fish and tank decore - or room decore for that matter.
Works well
The last one died after 7 years so purchased this as a replacement. The cord needed to be re-routed but that only took 10 minutes to do. Hopefully lasts another 7 years! The filters are a little pricey but it is easy to maintain and very clean looking.
