It will suffice for a 75-gallon tank...
Purchased this item for a 75-gallon aquarium. Pros: 1) Less expensive than most LED items (which is why I bought it). 2) Gives a nice blue glow. 3) Wires from each light connect to another wire making a "Y" but has enough length to adjust the wire to hide it from view. Cons: 1) Doesn't distrubute the nice blue glow very much, so it's more like have two blue headlights rather than an overall blue glow (which is what I was anticipating). My tank is 48" long, so these little lights are okay, but not ideal. 2)The lights can attach to your aquarium light with double-sided sticky tape (comes with product) but the tape doesn't stick well. (Also comes with permanent brackets, but I don't want to put holes in my tank light.) 3) The actual light tubes easily pop out of the holders, which is VERY ANNOYING. I finally hot glued the tubes to the holders, and STILL had one pop out when I was adjusting some other wires. The brackets don't really hold the tubes; they should be made with...
