Broke after 6 months - 90 day warranty - beware
Avoid these lights at all costs. I've gone through three that have failed in less than a year.
One light on my 48" HO stopped working after only six months of approximately 8 hour per day use. I was thinking it was just the bulb and thought I'd just swap the bulbs to be positive that was my problem before I purchased another. When I flipped the unit over to change the bulb I realized half of my LED lights weren't working either. I thought it was strange, this looked like a bad sign, but figured maybe they were wired to a circuit that depended on the bulb as an integral part (wired in series). I swapped the bulb that was working into the non-working socket and unfortunately found out the socket was dead.
I'm contacting the company to see if they'll stand behind their light.
Update 12/27/11
I just emailed the company and received a response back in less than 15 minutes. They asked for a copy of my receipt to open a warranty claim. I'll update again...

Great Aquarium Light!
I was hesitant to buy this light since no one had reviewed it before hand, however since others have given light fixtures from Deep Blue 5 stars I thought I would get it because it was a good price and had night LED's built-in with the two T5 HO lights.
I really like this light, it feels solid and has some weight to it. The T5 HO bulbs that come with it are 10,000K and Antic, however I can't comment on those because I changed them out immediately to 6500k (daylight) and 5000k (plant) for my planted 55 gallon freshwater tank. The light bulb pins are protected with rubber rings and plastic housing and the lights have a enclosed protective plastic between them and the water so even though it doesn't recommend using directly over open water I bet it would be just fine if you did.
There are 2 toggle switches, one for each light for turning on and off. I was happy to see they were not push button because those tend to break. There is also 8 LED lights that stay on...
LED lights not working
I am having the same issue with the LED lights. I bought the light 4 months ago and now only two LEDs work while the others blink intermittently. I un-plug it at night b/c it is very annoying. The two main lights seem to work ok but the unit gets hot while they are on.
edit 9/5/12 Well I am changing this to one star b/c like others one of my ballasts has stopped working , I have tested several working bulbs with no luck. I have emailed the company to see if they stand by their products and will update if they offer me a new lamp. I have only had this lamp for 6 months and it has had several issues. I would not recommend buying this lamp.
